Dr. Karen Walsh, owner

Dr. Karen Walsh has owned Kennebec Valley Animal Clinic since 2011. Karen is originally from Prince Edward Island where she graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College. She lives in Farmingdale with her husband, son, daughter, a dog, and a house full of cats. 

​Dr. Chelsea Mullen

Dr. Chelsea Mullen joined KVAC in 2023. She is a 2011 graduate of Michigan State University. She lives with her husband, 3 children, and several pets in central Maine. 

Shannon Snyder, technician

Shannon has been a technician at KVAC since 2014. She graduated from Medaille College in 2010. When she is not at the clinic she is trying to keep up with her 2 German Shepherds Moxie and Phoebe. Shannon is a 4-H group leader and enjoys giving riding lessons and doing competition with her  horses.

  Sheri Zimmerman, technician

​   Sheri joined our team in March 2016. She has been a vet tech for 33         years. Born and raised in Oklahoma, she attended Texas A&M   
   University then moved to Austin to start her career at a large 6 
   doctor  practice. She fell in love with Maine after a 1994 camping trip     and moved here in 1995. Sheri has 2 dogs, 1 cat, and multiple beehives. ​

Robin McKeen, technician
Robin joined our team in 2022.  She moved here with her husband from Wisconsin where she was a LVT. Robin loves spending time with her family, crafting, gardening, and lounging at home with her 3 cats. 








Wendy Crocker, technician
Wendy returned to KVAC after a 3 year break at the end of 2025. She graduated from tech school in May 2011 and started practicing in July 2011. Wendy loves to spend time with her husband and daughter up at camp fishing. She has 2 cats, Shadey and Grizabella. 




Danielle Baxter, technician
Danielle attended Barton County Collage in Kansas before she moved back to Maine. She joined us in 2023. She has 2 dogs, Voodoo and Tucker, that she shares with her partner Aaron. 









​Cheliana Wareheim, technician
Chey joined our team in 2025. She has been working in vet med for over 10 years. Chey currently has 1 cat, Fitzwilliam, but has enjoyed fostering many kittens over the years until they could find their forever homes. 






Stacy Dial, client specialist
Stacy joined our team in September 2016. Born in Maine but spent most of her life in Georgia, Stacy returned to Maine in 2016. She has 2 children still in Georgia which she visits often. Stacy enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. 

Joanne Parkin, client specialist

Joanne joined KVAC in 2017. She lives in West Gardiner with her husband, dog Ranger, cats Newman, Nugget and Bugzy. Joanne enjoys camping, fishing and exploring the roads of Maine.
